Instruct Me
Fees
Fees for a senior barrister are normally a function of the hours spent in preparation, the number of days spent in court (where applicable), and the importance and complexity of the case. Thus, fees can only ever be calculated on a case by case basis.
Tim or his clerk will be pleased to discuss these directly and informally with the solicitor and/or the client.
Public / Direct Access
It is now also possible, depending on the case, to instruct a barrister directly without the need first to instruct a solicitor. This is widely known as Public Access Barrister or Direct Access Barrister services.
